    IPv6 Port Forwarding

I'm trying to setup ipv6 port forwarding my my Fritzbox, but I'm unsure what each of the fields means.

I'm unsure of what "Interface ID" means. It doesn't look long enough for an ipv6 or a MAC address. What exactly am I meant to enter to setup ipv6 port forwarding?

    Hi

"Interface ID" is the IPv6 version of a MAC Address, see:

Thanks, seems a bit buggy on the Fritzbox though. My MAC is 00-24-E8-13-A2-4D, which as far as I can see works out to be 0024:E8FF:FE13:A24D

Fritzbox enters this as ::24:e8ff:fe13:a24d and the rule doesn't seem to work (can't connect to the service from external ips)

Sorry, my calculation error, should be 0224:E8FF:FE13:A24D, but still doesn't seem to work
